The ETF-data is a valuable resource for the research community. The data is accessible to postgraduate students and researchers at Swedish and foreign universities and colleges. However, there are some restrictions on deliveries to countries outside the European Union.
Informal enquiries about the ETF-data are welcome and can be directed to the database manager by phone or email. A formal request to acess ETF data should be made through the application form below. Attach it to an email and send it to Michael Hansen. Please remember to include a description of the project and a list of the needed variables.

ETF-data is only permitted to be used within the project which is specified in the application.
In order to secure stable funding of the ETF-project it is important to show how the data has been used. For this reason every publication based on ETF-data is obliged to include a reference to: Härnqvist, K. (2000). Evaluation through follow-up. A longitudinal program for studying education and career development. In C.-G. Janson (Ed.), Seven Swedish longitudinal studies in behavioral science (pp. 76-114). Stockholm: Forskningsrådsnämnden.
Also, one copy of all publications and contributions to symposiums or conferences should be sent to the ETF-project. We always appreciate an e-mail with information about new publications based on ETF-data.
