About Britt-Marie Apelgren

Associate professor in Language Education and Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Education.

Research interests
My primary research field concerns teachers' and students' perceptions and experiences of language teaching. My theoretical framework is constructivist, primarily influenced by personal construct psychology. Other research areas involve students' language skills in English and charting and delineating teachers' alternative forms of assessment, as well as research in the area of content and language integrated learning (CLIL).

Educational interests
I teach and supervise primarily in the field of subject-matter didactics, with a focus on learning in English.
